I'm afraid not. There's only enough room in my car to fit the banger track and a few other necessities. :P

Had a great time? Crowd was a little light, but the quality of the people made up for that.

It was a blast as always! I never really think to take pics at the show because I'm always so busy running events, but I got a few.

We'll start off with the Trucks, Vans, & SUVs banger racing:

Finish it!

Fatality.

Brett's poor Tiger Wheels truck got pounded by a Dairy Delivery and a pair of Boogie Vans. My suspicion is that metal fatigue is the culprit here, but being slammed around by a bunch of other heavy vehicles certainly sped up the process. And yes, we kept running it as it crumbled, and it lost more body parts as the races continued. Once it was eliminated I set it at the bottom of the slope, then put the four heaviest vehicles present in. Two Boogie Vans, the Dairy Delivery, and a competition special Hot Wheels Vehicross slammed into it at top speed. It didn't stand a chance!

Here we see our lovely trophy girl, Rose (Mrs. CorvairJim) presenting Robert (Dragnet_Supporter) with the trophy for winning the bangers truck race, and Brett with what's left of his Tiger Wheel. Congrats to Robert, and better luck next time, Brett!

We also had some prizes generously donated to the event, one of which was a Gold Membership for Johnny Lightning's collectors club. Here we see Kevin (Ozmont) looking over his win!

Thanks for posting the pics Swifty. I'm sad I missed another Carnival. Hopefully I can attend the 2018 CARnival with Donna. I hope the weather next April will be like it was this year. This weekend it's going to be in the 80's in western PA. :o

Picked up two trophies this year. I think I have five at this point...mostly won in two good years I've had racing. Most years, I've been blown away by the competition!

I'm afraid that's all I got this year. The camera's dangling from my neck the whole day and I don't think to use it.

Thanks for the reply Sean.

You were probably very busy with Banger racing, and couldn't take many pictures.

Can anyone post pictures of the 2017 CARnival? :toy:

I'm usually the only person actively taking pictures. And even at that, with everything going on, sometimes I just forget to do so. :(
