Per http://www.za3collectibles.com/infoPage.htm . . . Greenlight will be releasing a '65 Suicide Door Lincoln which appears to debut in a Hollywood Matrix release slated for July of 2017.![]() A later August release will be in 'Madison Gray'. Johnny Lightning, Matchbox and Hot Wheels have all released some version of the '61-'64 sedans in the past. None though are true 1/64 scale. I'm hoping Greenlight puts in the same effort into this Lincoln as they did the '55 Caddy released earlier in 2016. Thanks Greenlight for listening!!! Now if ya could just do a '64 Imperial sedan and a '67 and '73 IMPs. |

Cool - it will be nice to see GL offer a 1/64th '65 Continental.

We are excited. So very unscientific poll here. Opening hood...or opening suicide doors? I don't know if we can do it without a huge panel gap so no promises. But if we can, which is cooler? I think I know but just asking. |

Just one man's opinion..... While opening suicide doors would be cool, I think it would probably work better for 1/43 scale and up. If opening features must be added to any 1/64 scale, I'd personally prefer to see it as an opening hood. I'm one of those people that actually prefers no opening features at all in order to keep the fine detail as accurate as possible. |

No door gaps please, opening hood or nothing. Just keep it realistic and stock. |

Sweet car, personally I hope it has an opening hood. GL usually keeps the hood gaps to the very minimum. |

I would love to see the car have opening suicide doors but as others have noted not sure it is doable in 1/64th scale without overly large hinges or door gaps. Thus the opening hood would be great. Thanks for asking us through this "unscientific polls."

Go with the reverse opening hood. I don't think the suicide doors would end up looking all that great even though it would be a first for GL. Will the model have a casted roof? The JL '61 and '62 has a plastic roof so they can alternatively do convertible versions. I am really hoping your version has no convertible option and a casted roof. I'm not a big fan of plastic roofs. |

Count me as another for an opening hood. Doors would be endlessly cool, but given the potential for fit and finish maladies, an opening hood is a better option. And a sincere thank you. This is one casting that I've long wanted to see done accurately in 1:64. |

I've seen these in 1/43 scale in the president series, and really don't care for them. Not sure of the years though. Why they release anything in 1/43rd is beyond me. It seems to be the most unpopular scale among collectors. To each their own I guess!!! |

NO opening doors please. These aren't "just pretend" child's toys any more, they are adult collectibles. Seal the hoods while you are at it. I go for more detail like authentic wheels and jeweled lights. |

Suicide doors for me. Plenty of diecast have opening hoods. I can think of none that have suicide doors. I'd love to see these even if not perfect. Just my 2 cents |

I'm looking forward to this casting . I think I'd prefer the opening hood, even though the suicide doors would be cool.

Swifty, I am sure you had some say on the 16th year promo car. Thanks so much for choosing one without a gaping wind gobbler hood and floppy misfit chicken wing doors. You are the man! |

You need to do some research Steve. 1/43 scale is very popular over seas and they are slowly coming around in the US. I am for one a 1/43 scale collector with a few others here are also. I am loving that they are putting out 1/43 scale cars even though most of them seems to be parts works quality castings. They are in the stores and they are affordable. That's a double win for any collector, especially 1/43 collector, to have that. Edited by Firehawk73, Jan 6 2017, 10:32 PM.
