Support your local demo derby.

Has the company rebounded or have their casting been leased/sold out to another company? Diecast Direct has new releases for the company in the early part of this year in both 1/18 and 1/43. Any info?

I'm not sure about other parts in the world, but in Europe they sell 1/18 and 1/43 scale model from Yat-ming under the name Lucky Diecast now.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
When I look at that Bentley, and I see the price is a mere $15, I stand on that slippery slope that is collecting 1/43. If I was just getting into diecast collecting, it's the scale I'd choose to focus on since the sheer variety available is unmatched in 1/64, which focuses mainly on muscle cars.

Unfortunately, I'm too vested in 1/64 at this point, and all I can hope for is that Yat Ming/Lucky decides to release it in 1/64 too.

It is an interesting question. I know the 1/43rd Edsel has been around for quite a while as have some of the other 1/43rd castings - my guess would be someone bought the molds for these or even the name. But one can also hope maybe for a "rebirth" like JL and see some new 1/64th models.
