 I haven't seen this one before.
It isn't a diecast, it's a little hollow rubber thing you can fill with water and squirt made by LJN. I just threw it up for grins.

:D So it squirts water...I know a little girl who would love a toy like that. I knew it wasn't die-cast - thought it might have been some type of plastic premium like some the cars that firms like Applause has made.

I remember this black version (according to the Google, it was a Kroger exclusive Halloween issue......around here, Kroger is Fred Meyer). I think I may have it in a tub somewhere.....(Slimer isn't driving, but he's sure splattered on the hood.....)

Do they have Slimer driving any of these variations?
the only Ecto-1 I seen Slimer driving was in the bigger one from the new movie
You could push a button on the car & Slimer would light up

I just picked up the current Entertainment series version of the most recent Ecto-1 (at TRU), worried in the store that it would just be a duplicate of the two-pack variation in the "Ecto-1 and Ecto-2" set released last year. Thankfully it turns out the red top of the Caddy is darker in the single than in the two-pack. A different color of red, almost maroon, not just a 'shade' variation. Not that I'm gonna collect every variation--like the wheel vary viper57 posted above--but when you can't find a pic online in the store to compare what's in hand with what's been released prior, you're always kinda gambling that it'll be different somehow.

Oh, and on the two-pack version, the gumball light on the roof is clear red, while the single has the solid 'yellow' beacon in that location. So, that's a pretty major difference. It would seem that HW and others really do think of 'collectors' in many of these releases....but it can be difficult in a store to know for sure if the new card art is the only difference from some previous release....
