I love this casting. My redline is in the same condition as yours, still it looks great. I also have the white one with blackwalls. The one I'd like to get my hands on is the blue version, or even the yellow one.

My best friend in early elementary had a BW blue one. It was one of a few cars he had that I wanted really badly. I doubt I'll ever wan to afford the yellow or green ones, but I have managed to obtain a metal based orange, plastic orange, blue, white, and the 2 HWC versions. The mainlines generally are in worn shape, but that's ok with me. Always thought this was a model that particularly begged to be played with in the dirt.

I live a VW way of life eat breathe sleep dream & was HOME 16 years
Heck ya the ones I had decades ago was SO TAMPO RUBBED and dirt clay sand riden , over all i gave been carefully playin with me cars outside but this casting did fall into the LETS just rallye HARD jump it crash it get it mugged down in the deep mud or wet sand etc

This casting was MENT TO BE RALLIED HARD
