I think some people will really appreciate these pictures...

A few months ago Siniweb, Scratchydub, Remco Natrop and I went to the 'Louwman Museum' in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

One of the cars they have is this original Toyota AA. The car was found in Vladivostok, Russia (!) in 2008.

Cool car. Thanks for sharing!

We had a discussion going on (over on the Japanese Nostalgic Car forum) about this car when it was discovered.

I also had some emails going back and forth with one of the Russians involved, as we were trying to get Toyota (Japan) interested in this car, but all to no avail. Don't know why, but Toyota just more or less ignored it and even after the Louwman Museum acquired it, Toyota still showed no interest... I don't know why the lack of interest. :(

It's indeed a strange story, this car deserves to be in a Toyota museum.
