A couple of these tractor trailer rigs might date back to the 1960's, although I think it's safe to say most are from the 1970's.

This early low-loader didn't come with the bulldozer included, in fact it seems they came with no load at all, like it is pictured below in its original package.

Most here have the Bernard cab, the low-loader is an early variation on the cab, you may notice that the front bumper is part of the base, and was later made as part of the body casting in the second version shown, and finally of course it was fitted with the low friction fast wheels, but none that I have are the earliest version of the Bernard, the first one had opening doors and a driver, as seen in Niels thread here...... http://swiftysgarage.net/topic/9032690/

These below might be a little later, I'm pretty sure the Magirus cab, first two, followed the Bernard, and I'm not sure when they used the last one Scania cab, maybe around the same time, I suspect they are from the late 70's and into the 1980's.

Some years back, Yatming created some look alike rigs as well, shown below.

Yat Ming did make those tankers later on with a few differences
Same with the container trailers but they were flatter than ones by Majorette
Yatming used those Ford tractors with those trailers

Kiddie City went out of business in 1993
So that truck may have some value to it B)

So many nice semi trucks from Majorette. I do recall seeing a number of the Bernard cab versions in the '70's. I knew a collector in CT who was big into the promo trucks and became a trading partner over the years.

Great models guys, thanks for sharing them, and it looks like I may have some variations to show of some of these later ones, which I'll post when I take some photos later this week.

So here are some more.

Start off with a couple of the Mercedes.

Now we have moved into what I believe is an early 1990's issue, the reason I say that is because of the solid yellow band
on the package above was earlier than the those with the yellow and white shown below, which I believe is early through mid 1990's.

It is interesting that the Volvo above has the Volvo badging in the grill, but below they deleted it, saving some licensing cost maybe.

I'd seen the below package style around in 1997 or so, but I have a hunch they started around 1996, the reason being is the trip odometer rendering shows 1996, coincidence maybe.
