A super find for £1 at a nearby second hand store, with the flags intact. I am overjoyed to find it.

I found it funny to find the same dead/injured guy in there as was in the VW van... they keep moving him to new vehicles!

It even sits well besides the Matchbox Citroen DS, which is also one of my favourite castings (well, it is one of my favourite cars, also!)

A very glamorous model of a very glamorous car. Highly recommended to any who do not have it already!

Wow ! Only 1 £ for this Currus ambulance is a real bargain actually. The real ambulance was a very limited production compared to others DS ambulances.

Oh thank you for this information! I did not know the name of the coach builder. This is fascinating information.

Well, if it can help. In the past, I interrogate myself on this bodycar type which is different and unseen from usual DS ambulances I've seen in my chilhood. So I just had a search on DS ambulances as I also did concerning most of unknown 3 inches diecast cars.

I found the website http://citrowagon.fr/ which was very helpful for history and photos, too - there is a treasure trove of information!

 Guess the VW was taking too long to get him to the hospital, and they needed something faster.

Great find, Congrats! I have only one myself, though I'm not sure right now if it has the same decals or something else.
