#3 cylinder misfires,headgaskets,etc.,cost to fix it all $1,900 to $2,100.Or a new engine,or van sigh..........

Ah man, that is rough. Those 3400's are prone to those gasket leaks though. 213k is a good run though. I'm surprised the trans lasted that long!

Well when ya drive you can fill the trans. jerking doing up hill after you get on flat road it stops lol.I have had the gaskets replaced before.

:rolleyes: Sometimes it is just simply time to move on and move beyond the nickel and dimes and $$$ to keep the old beast on the road. I tend to drive my work cars until they reach that point...Quirky the Taurus Wagon gave me 250.000 before it blew out the head gasket and a few other things. :wacko:
