As per Greenlight's Flickr and Facebook pages, we have our first look at the new Tokyo Torque series (1/64). This set features two new toolings, the 240Z and R34 (if I am not mistaken).

Very nice looking set - it is good to see GL expanding more and more beyond just offering US cars besides VW's. :toy:

The two BRE cars are must haves, a Wangan Blue R34 is pretty appealing too - especially since I don't have any other 'premium' 1:64 R34s.

Nothing here for me, again, but isn't M2 coming out with similar cars? It will be interesting to see who is first and who makes the best Nissan replicas.

Anybody know if these will be true 1/64th scale? I have a sneaking suspicion they will be bigger.

It says they're in the 1:64 line and GL is pretty good about being consistent with scale.

If the scale is good, I will be buying the '71 240Z.

True 1/64. All of our 1/64 scale cars are this way. I know some of the older molds had some tire/wheel scaling issues that some of you still complain about   :P  - but we've done our best to clean all of this up as things move along. Plus almost all our new wheels and tires conform to a more accurate scale.

No, contractually we aren't allowed to do that one. There is another company licensed to do this one at the moment.
