I was watching this 2-bidder contest as it ended. One was placing many $2 bids in order to stay on top. The other was calmly topping him to where it sat at $34. Worth it? Then, in the last 20 seconds Bidder 3 enters the picture. Chaos ensues. A hundred bucks? Am I missing something? Should I sell mine?!

I wouldn't know its value, although I've never seen one at flea markets, or shows or anything in 21 years I've collected, but then again sometimes a seller just gets lucky and gets the right people bidding at the right time. :D

That's what I'm thinking, just a few people determined to outbid the others. (Sometimes the winning bidder then stiffs the seller, and you see it posted for sale again a couple weeks later.)

The Corgi Jensen is a desirable piece. With the early wheels, and if it still has its paper label, and in what looks to be darn near mint condition, probably is a $20-30 car, pushing $40 on a good night, but this was probably the result of a bidding war.
