I dont profess to be an expert. Nor did I stay at Holiday Inn Express last night (old commercial), but I am pretty sure that is another of those Gingell models based on depression fo seat area and thin line details. In the data base listing provided there - there are 7-8 Race Cars that cover that number of 712 in the range given. Now who distributed it - is up to debate still. ![]() http://swiftysgarage.net/topic/9060522/1/ Edited by Milton Fox Racing, Jun 16 2017, 08:31 AM.

Cool! Looks like a couple of makers used the 712 race car casting. Thanks for the link!

Yes it seems like the engine could be easily lost. The base on mine has come loose at one of the rivets. Cool find! Edited by Hot Wheels, Jun 16 2017, 09:09 AM.

![]() This is the #712 I've got, I recognize the curious kick up on either side of the rear wing So with what we sorted in the other thread so far, I would guess Gingell too Now I'm going to retreat to a corner expecting one of the experts to say I'm mistaken... |

Yeah the wheels have the Majorette "look" to them but they are not the same at closer inspection. I like the blue one.

I just LOVE the "Tank!" (exclamation point included) up front, and the "CRASH!" on the wing.....I'd pick up either one (or any other color) just to get those graphics like the blue and the first white one. Almost like a preternatural tribute to our beloved 60s TV Batman, Adam West, who passed away last week in LA. I can just picture the cartoon text bubbles in a Batman episode with the words "TANK!" and "CRASH!" over fighting sounds and general 'mayhem' on screen... |
