Nascar Silly Season rumors that Dave Blaney might be going to the Dale Earnhardt's car next year. Hope not we need him he's a credit to the Ford Camp. A Weapon no doubt.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I'd be surprised to see Blaney leave Penske's sphere of influence, especially for a slumping team like Hendrick. Penske wants to bring him 'in-house' so I'd be less surprised to see him move over to them (whether that be in a third car, or to replace Brad should he bolt to the #88). Currently I think Dale is pushing for Alex Bowman to take the ride. Of course Hendrick may have two open spots, with Kahne's lackluster performance since taking over the #5, no one would be surprised to see him out of that ride at season's end.

Also, about the only thing that's 'Ford' about those cars is the decal on the hood. NASCAR is more or less a spec racing series now, so they're Fords in name only. It isn't the '80s any more when Awesome Bill was running circles around the competition in a Thunderbird that at least looked like the one you could buy at your local Ford dealership. To claim those are Fusions (or that the Gibbs cars are Camrys, etc.) is ludicrous.
