My small collection of 5 of them, it appears on the card back that they did many. These are part of the Swiss Collection from around the late 1980's I think. Please show yours if you have any.

The five models are.....

 Thanks for the memories Douglas - like many other Matchbox items at one time I had all of the Swiss 1-75 issues - always wondered though why they didn't offer a Swiss ambulance or police car?

I think a Swiss army knife would have been another neat addition, well I'm not so sure about the 3 year olds though. :D

Microbuss, I unfortunately don't have the convoys, but maybe Dave (sschevyman) does, he has got most of them I think.

Colpop, hope you run across the carded VW, I'm sure they are out there, although I found mine many years ago, can't even remember where I got them, but I got them all at once and believe they were in a lot at a toy show back then, but they must come up on ebay once in awhile I would think.

John that would have been great to see the series with the emergency models you mention, but I actually keep that PTT car with my emergency models, guess it is because of the red outlined cross on the doors, even though I think I read PTT was the phone company or something. :D

Scotty, it is always pretty cool to me to run across unusual stuff, these were twice, when I first got them, and then since I had them packed away so long, that running across them in the box was kind of exciting.....sometimes (a lot) I forgot I had the models until I see them again in the box. :D

Thanks Patrick, glad you like them, was hoping folks would have some of the others to show too.

If I recall the PTT Van was for Swiss Post - they still have the red cross design as part of their newer logo.

I took a photo of all my boxes in storage (I'll post later in the Showroom).......it's going be like X-Mas when I go through them.

Thanks for the info on that PTT logo John, wasn't sure what it was, but did remember it wasn't exactly emergency related. :D

Scotty, I'm excited for when you can start sharing pics of some of your collection that has been packed away so long.

Glad you like them Joe.

I knew you'd have the vans Brian, thanks for showing them, I think I'd seen the Ovomaltine one loose before, but for some reason didn't get it.

I took a photo of all my boxes in storage (I'll post later in the Showroom).......it's going be like X-Mas when I go through them.
I'm experiencing that now....I keep finding Matchbox models scattered in places/boxes where I threw them after purchase, and when I find them I think, "I didn't know I had this one!"

I have decided my 'old' method of planning for cataloging, where I kept things I bought around the same time or in the same store (or online) together, has failed me, leaving me with lots of small cardboard boxes filled with models from multiple brands, often buried or hidden from view inside or under other boxes. Because of that, I have "paid up" in a few cases by buying something on ebay, say, that it turns out I already had in my "collection", but it was just hidden away for so long that I had no idea what I actually had.

For better or worse, now I'm finally working on getting all my Matchbox collection--aside from the hundred or so openly displayed--packaged/boxed together so theoretically I should be able to SEE exactly what I have, and all of it, in "one" place. (Doing the same for every brand, too.)

A good thing about doing a re-vamp of my storage issues is that I can delete quite a few items from my ebay "watch list" now that I know I already have that/those.

Too bad they are so much now for collectors looking to add one, but on a good note, you do make me feel better about how at least some my collection has much better value than I paid, and could actually prove to subsidize my retirement a bit if the time comes to start selling.

When I used to search and buy on ebay, I would do the same, diligently look for things I'm wanting, then after I move on to something else, I'd forget to search again for the other item for a real long time.

Dave, I figured you probably had all the trucks, and If you have any photos of the Convoys handy, it would be neat to see them.
