Nice car. Nice photography! The ice cream also looks delicious..

I didn't know the GT is sold in USA, I thought it was a Japan-only special.

I tested the Convertible a couple years ago when it was a brand new model at our Mazda Club meeting, where the Finnish importer gave one car for the weekend to try out. It was really good to drive, though I had problems to fit my legs in the car as well as my head when the roof was up
Thank you!

The ice cream is delicious! Honey Mee is my favorite recently. https://www.honeymee.com/

Officially it is the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF GT. I think it just became available during 2017.

You must be tall.
I guess I'm average at 5'9". It was a comfortable fit for me, although getting out was a little tricky for my middle aged bones.

That is so bad to the bone!!!!! Reminds me of this. Was it fun? Did it handle and go fast?

Yes it was fun. And quick. But I kept it at the speed limit.

The Miata is a great car. But I just couldn't justify the expense while also owning the Boxster and I am not getting rid of that car. With insurance and the payment it was running me nearly an Amalgam Ferrari F40 every month. Carmax gave me a solid offer on it (higher than sold prices on eBay for a comparable one, even though mine had a slightly damaged hood) and I let it go.
That's a bummer, but understandable. And at least you've got the Porsche!
I'm glad my wife works for Mazda. We lease her car. We don't need to worry about registration or insurance, Mazda takes care of those expenses. I was always against leasing a car, but this way it works out nicely.

And we can rent any car in the Mazda line-up anytime. Good deal all around. :D

I got mine brand new for about $27k.
MSRP here in California is starting at around $32,600.

For the RF. Mine was a normal convertible with the Club trim.
