This is a 1/32 Kinsmart pull-back action diecast model PT Cruiser that features a surfboard from Hawaii. I found it at a thrift store for a dollar. With a grille blackwashing and a couple of other minor detailing, it looks pretty decent. The biggest problem with the model was it had no tires! And I had no tires which would fit nor any wheel sets with tires that would work. The solution was to cut foam bullets to width, soak with white glue and hope for the best. I think it looks great! I now have a new idea for tires too! I see used diecast cars all the time missing the tires but still have the rims and I have passed on them. Now I will try your idea. Awesome!

i remember when the real cars hit the showrooms.i went to look at them.but the dealer acted like he was doing me favor by answering my questions.so i walked out the door and went and purchased an impala. |
