I was thinking it was still open - the picture from the second reference (newsworks) of the large display cases reminds me of the ones they use at the National Farm Toy Museum in Dyersville, IA. We are scheduled to be at some meetings in eastern PA in June 2019 so may have to see if I can work a trip in to the museum while I am that close.

Wow, thanks for that link, now I see that I too must visit it someday. So the name Road Museum, does this mean it is a mobile museum, say like a semi truck like Dave shows here, although a semi wouldn't seem near big enough for even the Matchbox items shown in those photos at that website, assuming they aren't showing everything here. |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

No, this isn't portable or it would be in Florida these days (Everett moved, but the museum's still in NJ). On a side note, the next Pennsylvania Matchbox Collectors Club meeting will be held there on August 19th. This is an open event - anyone interested may attend. I'd recommend being there by 2PM. |

Correction: The open house at the Matchbox Road Museum is on Sat., Aug. 19. The date of 8/16 is a mis-print. |
