A Cool Pickup Line ...![]() (Yeah, sorry about the lame play with words... that's even if it came across, as, well, like, English is not my native language) Edited by FoolTrottel, Jul 16 2017, 06:03 PM.

Your title I am sure will get a lot of people to take a look - and it is a great line of pickups - what is the weathered one in the back? Great to see a Studebaker in the line-up!

The one in the back is a Hot Wheels, a '52 Chevy. Customized it a while back. (There is a thread on it here, but most of it's photo's were kicked with the bucket ... I fixed only one of 'm just now ) Edited by FoolTrottel, Jul 17 2017, 12:23 AM.

Beautiful trucks and the diorama is very good. Where did you get the sidewalk and road. They look great. |

The side walk and road surface are store bought, Busch 6038 (http://www.howardscenicsupplies.co.uk/busch-6038-town-street-with-pavement-self-adhesive-1m-x-110mm-00-ho/) As the scale was off - way too narrow for 1/64 - I cut the the side walk off along its length, and then flipped half of the length, and added it to the other side ... so I ended up with like half the length of the entire piece. (Does that make any sense?) It's got adhesive on the under side. Glued it to a piece of wood, but first heightened the curb/side walk with another strip of wood... Thanks guys!! |
