Nice collection of Fords John, I never did add that convertible with the driver, wanted too, but it was always a bit pricey, think I might have a similar Budgie though. The Corsair with boat is a favorite, a boxed issue was one of the first mail order Matchbox I got when I started collecting. |

Great condition! I'm always on the lookout for the Superfast version of the brown Cortina. I have the empty box. |

There is a story that goes with the Zodiac convertible. When I found it in the toy store I noticed the tow hitch and told my parents it needed a trailer to pull and so they bought me the boat and trailer. A few weeks later I found the Ford Thunderbird and again told them it needed a trailer to pull - so got another boat and trailer. They did not seem to mind buying the second model to go with the car...most of the time.

If you are in England it seems everyone over the age of 40 remembers these vehicles very fondly. |

Incredible condition, I am always amazed, the one-time children's toys are still in such good condition. |

I have all of these beauties...they were in my uncle's collection that I always played with as a kid at Grandma's. So there are many fond childhood memories right there. |

Great set of cars!! If only we could convince MBX to do some of these subjects with 2018 tool technology. |
