The Quest Continues
K.K. Sakura (Japan) 1/43 #A-2 Mercedes-Benz Type W111 220Sb or 220SEb sedan (pale green w/ blue tinted windows) Nice chrome, and heavy (12 oz / 340 g). According to internet photos, originally came with nice red box w/ gold lettering, and a red cloth to wrap it in. Box and cloth not included with my purchase.

Serendipity!

I just saw Sakura on the 'bay last night for the first time and found myself impressed by what I saw!

The Quest Continues
Just checked the 'bay and saw numerous copies of the M-B model shown here, but they all seemed to have a cheaper red box with a plastic "view window", which was not the one I saw on the web last year when I got mine. The box I described seem to be heavier, had a slide-off top and included that plush red cloth. Maybe that was a special promotional item. Just saw a KK Sakura Pontiac Firebird that looked pretty good too (if you like those). Also see some other nice ones. I got mine (the M-B 220Sb) for $10 at a show (no freight). So, given the bulk (weight) of the thing, and the good looks, I thought it was a great deal.
