Wonderful pics, Ben!

I notice there is only one casting on the pic that is represented twice - the :ferrari: Berlinetta Lusso.
This in my opinion disturbs the otherwise perfect harmony.
I think we need to talk about one of them. :poke: :D
The Alfa Romeo Bertone 2600 Sprint is also duplicated, once in olive with a police light and then a blue civilian version. The Ferrari's told me they've become best friends and I couldn't bear to split them up.
Won't agree here and now for some hardcore nitpicking: The police alfa 2600 and civilian alfa 2600 would be altered casting, due to the hole in the roof for the police light. :D

Since you have them in such a great shape, you should never let them go again.

It's not nitpicking if you're correct. Same model car though, which is what I thought you meant, but yup, different castings.

Where does one find these? Dragged eBay quick last night but only found the Lancia car transporter (different color scheme, mint, and expensive!). No cars except for the ones on the transporter. Are these found mainly in Italy? I think I saw Italy as the country of origin. Somebody mentioned seeing them in Italy at 60 Euro a pop. Could possibly justify maybe one a year at that rate. They are super nice. What's the yellow sedan by the transporter? Looks like a Datsun or Fiat. Knowing now these are Italian, it's probably an Alfa.
The yellow one is indeed an Alfa. A Giulia TI. Finding them is tricky, try searching for Penny 1/66 or Penny plus the brand name of the individual cars. Some of them seldom come up on Ebay. The Ferrari Dino for instance, in three years of having "Penny Ferrari" saved as an Ebay search I saw 5. Three in not very good shape that sold for between $20-50, one mint one that sold for well over $100 and I got severely outbid on and then mine, which I somehow got really lucky on and think I paid about $30 for. The transporter was another I got very lucky on, I paid $60 for it and it included three cars. The transporter isn't mint, mostly just the chrome that has discolored on the wheels, but since it usually sells for above $100, I was really happy to get it for $60 with three cars. Some of the Alfa Romeo's are relatively common, as is the Maserati 3500 GT (one of my favorites in the lot) and you can probably find them in the $20 range if you're patient. If you want to know what any of the other cars are, let me know which ones.
I don't recognize many of them. Was there a Penny database here (I could check)? I'd like to know what they all are, but don't want to really ask you to identify each one. I'm just curious. Like I said, I've never seen these. Saw the red MB on eBay. Looks good. Best of luck on that one. Your transport carrier is a much nicer color combo than the one on eBay. For some reason, "red" seems more Italian.

Sadly no, there isn't an entry specifically for Penny. That needs to change. I'll take a picture of all of them individually this weekend and add descriptions. We do have an entry for Polistil that briefly mentions Penny though:

Running in the 90's
I'm just stuck on the fact that Lancia made a semi truck right now. My mind is blue-screening. I would LOVE one of the 3500 GTs, but sadly that appears to be the quad headlight version, and it just doesn't look right to me with 4 headlights.

Yeah, it was actually the Maserati Sebring at that point, I think it only was still called 3500 GT in certain markets (Italy perhaps since that's where Penny was). I'd love an early 3500 GT, that's for sure among the best looking cars ever made.

That's an OSI Bisiluro, an obscure choice to make into diecast if there ever was one. It does look remarkably like the Honda Racer that Hot Wheels did as part of the Designer's Challenge series, I'm betting the Honda designers got their inspiration from it.
