I got lucky when I popped into that big box store that shall not be named. All six cars from this release were still on the pegs. I really wanted the Edsel since I do not have one in my collection. However, even though Racing Champions has made astounding efforts on their reemergence, that casting still does not look good. It had a lot of quality control issues. This Studebaker Commander made a nice consolation prize. And the first time this casting has ever been a part of my collection. She is beautiful in my opinion.

 Well - I already drooled on the Studebaker in your M2 post but will add some more in this one! :D That is one sharp looking car - glad RC reissued it. Know I will want to find both versions - for me Studebaker is right behind the Edsel in cars that I like. Sorry to read about the Edsel not being up to snuff. While I have not seen the reissue, knowing the issues with the original ones, I honestly think this was one that should have been a new casting (know they aren't doing those, which is too bad). I will still get the Edsel issues because they are Edsel's. I am going to be on the road to the west for a couple of weeks so maybe I will get lucky and find a store that has these on the pegs. B)

Support your local demo derby.

The cornpicker from RC looks pretty nice along with the other classics of the 50/60s in your pics.

It looks great.
I am surprised to see the fragile side mirrors come back on these modern releases.
