That's cool. It must be the first in this scale?

I remember seeing a real one for the first time about three years ago locally. Didn't know what it was and only saw it from behind but it sure stood out. Only saw it once in a while from afar so it stayed a mystery until I finally happened to see a picture of one on the 'Net.

There are a few of them in my city. Personally I think it is like a BMW that has been castrated and I would not have it, but as a model, yes indeed! And what could be more exciting than to be anticipating the BMW I8 next year, with opening doors, from Matchbox? Eeee))) I cannot wait.

I have one coming in the (hopefully) near future...and I'm very excited for it. Thanks for the excellent photos, and while the real car does absolutely nothing for me, this iteration does everything.

The brand Double Horses, from China, released an i3 last year. I have it in white as well as orange-red.

Not really the type of vehicle I'd be collecting these days, but it is indeed nice to see Matchbox doing vehicles like this to keep the line well rounded.

BMW sells tiny ones at their dealers. They are expensive, of course. Matchbox-sized, I don't know the maker.

I got the BMW branded one in white. Its available in a few colours. It cost about £5 from eBay.

I did it as car of the day - but all my pictures were on photo bucket and so are now blanks.

Later I'll redo it with the photos stored elsewhere.

With a bit of luck a real one could grace our drive? Time will tell.

They are not like electric milk floats - they can really shift - not in absolute terms but can give an M3 a good run for its money.

I'm not finding them at BMW dealers (or online shop) or on EBay... :(

Maybe I'll have to ask for help.
