I have never seen the movies, but does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles involve a camera truck in any way? Twinkies?
Bingo.

I kept thinking that shell reminds me of the TMNT, but I never bothered to make a connection.

April O'Neil, friend of the Turtles, and news reporter in the first animated series.

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
I think Pegers may have gotten it right and it was a change in plans for the MBX designers. Maybe there still is a plan for the way the interior parts were detailed?

My custom has come along quite nicely - still need to perfect my fine painting details... but generally very happy with the final result - let me know what you think?

Looking great! Where did you get the extra seats from? Any ideas for replacement windows?

Thank you everyone for their kind comments. The seats came from the Realtoy Merc Sprinter - still working on the side windows (may try to re-use the ones from the Sprinter van too.

That's pretty cool... I did this Bathearse custom combining the HW 66 Batmobile and this MB 63 Caddy hearse long ago. I found this cool old casket in the back of the MB Caddy to use with mu Bathearse display.
Found everything from dogs to toolboxes and I have found engines in cars without opening hoods also...
I often wondered the same...
