If I recall a lot of the sports related models that Matchbox/White Rose made sat on the shelves and pegs forever as they were higher priced and many didn't want to pay those prices. I think the hockey series was even more so as it seems not as many collectors had an interest in hockey. KB and others did large discounts on these. I recall finding a bunch at a KB outlet store in Albertville, MN years ago - think they were like a buck apiece. At the time I know I bought a bunch of them...

Well I think White Rose who puts out those "sports collectible" vehicles are outrageously over priced anyway!
$25-$50 for a vehicle that costs PENNIES to make in the 1st place?

I should remind everyone that there are two different castings of the '39 Chevy Van - not sure why but I know one is MB 215-A and other MB-746. If I get a chance today I will post a couple of pictures.
