Muscle Car
 These are such nice sets - and very nice models of cars that no one else has offered in 1/64th scale. I imagine there will be a number of people here at the Garage who will be  over these sets.

If true-to-life, it looks like the DDR 'system' had only two colors of paint in their auto factories. Guess that would cut down on individualism.....

Thank goodness the fire apparatus were, for the most part, mostly red, as is the custom. (I recently bought a resin HO-scale model of a large "eastern bloc" fire engine that sported true livery, and one entire side of the truck was white, the other side entirely red. I'll try to dig it out if I can remember where I stashed it. I liked the stark contrast of the paint job. For that matter, the tan and green of these models is also a surprisingly appealing deco....)

Another cute little Trabant!

I think the color was specific to this series. As much as I like green, seeing every car in the same green, is, well, it's a little too much. :duh:
