I just recently found the Corvette Roadster in this series. They make a really nice presentation package. That Rolls looks really nice.

I had this one and sold it. I liked the car but the packaging is huge.

Passed on these when they came out - not sure why as I would have thought I would have gone after that Rolls Royce in those days.

This was a great series with a few seldom used castings.

I had that Rolls and T-Bird, but traded them for Johnny Club cars. Never seen any of the others. They are nicely done and displayed well in the cases.

I had some of those JL cars - but since I tend to open all of mine and display them - not totally sure if I still even have them in these downsizing days - although I did come across one of the tin boxes the other day.

They were $14.99, a couple still have the price stickers on them.

The original retail price tag on mine is also $14.99. No tin box, but the outside packaging on the MB is designed to display the open black presentation box the casting and coin are mounted in.

I got many of these on clearance back when they were new. They were greatly over-priced for not a truly limited edition car. They were the same quality of vehicle as the Premiere cars which were around $2.50 to $3.00 but were initially asking 4 to 5 times that for a single car. As mentioned above, they are in great packaging which takes up a lot of space- which causes the age old DLM dilemma. One shown above that I don't have- but don't is the Porsche 944. That looks especially sweet with the red paint and opening doors.
