Really a nice way to show that NMSP pickup. Still need to get this one - then again I am so far behind on the Hot Pursuit that I may have to raid a couple of piggy banks.

Shhhhhhh! All looks the same from someone from Buffalo, NY. If I picked a generic desert scene from the Sahara, chances are someone would have noticed. Thanks for looking anyway!

Ah, yes, and the pursuit could have certainly proceeded into Arizona and found similar red rock in parts of that state, too. To a certain extent, all the "4-corners" states look alike....hard to tell apart from a distance... :P

I should add that just because I've driven around parts of NM for the past 7 years doesn't mean there isn't 'red rock' to be found there....I just couldn't think of any off-hand, but my route takes me through Utah and Colorado, where there's plenty to be found....

As for Buffalo, I've been through the environs a couple of times in my life, and what struck me most about it was how green it is everywhere around it....so many trees....something I have also marveled at in other eastern states....it's just SO GREEN back east....how can you stand it?! B) (And, I live in "the City of Trees".....Boise, ID. Around here, the trees are in the cities or the mountains....the rest of the surrounds are desert and sage brush plains...*).

(*And farms and ranches....there are a lot of those, too....quite "western" in that regard...)

Oh, and then it gets even WORSE! All those green trees (well, lots of them anyway) stop being green and turn all those ugly colors, like orange, red, yellow, and pink....what a horrible scourge on the scenery...... B)
