The cars fold up easily, making winning a challenge unlike the highly modified cars. Also I have never seen a Taurus last that long before.

Support your local demo derby.

I think the same channel or another one based out of Canada showed a 2nd gen Taurus wagon with the rear bumper ended up under the rear axle. They seriously need a spreader bar or some sorta basic 4 point cage. 25 years ago most full size cars were built pretty similar to how most of those were built albeit they may have had vertical exhaust headers. Most of my local shows have added stock midsize and full size classes and often out number mod cars by 2 to 1.

Hah! I knew who's channel it was before I clicked! That channel has some good videos. I'm surprised at how well the Grand Ams do as well.

Swifty HAS TO watch this video! That Taurus sure surprised me, still running after it's wheelbase had been shortened to about 4 feet. The green Camry almost looked like a new car compared to it. Did you see that silver Saturn stripped of all it's plastic outer panels? Or the good showing that ultra-short maroon Cavalier coupe put up? I thought the two minivans would have had an unfair advantage due to size, but both of them finished out of the money.

 Just saw the entire You Tube video... wow, pretty cool how they continue to go. Some with no tires and half of car?

Oh man. I know this is an old thread, but I just watched that video for the first time and I just about suffocated from laughing so hard at that car by the end of the bout. LoL. Such an epic win.
