As this old Nova sits and quietly rusts away in the woods, it is spotted by a grease monkey with big ideas.

A few old tires that held air are found and slapped on it in hopes of rolling freely.

Posted Image

Some other dangling wires and cables are fastened up and out of the way for now and it is brought to a loading area.

Posted Image

Loaded on the roll~back and brought to the shop.

Posted Image

It is backed into the bay and cleaned up a bit and checked out to the max.

Posted Image

Within a period of time, it is stripped of all damaged parts, rusted fenders replaced, repaired and a good primer paint applied.

Posted Image

Interior completely restored and now time for a new 350 engine.

Posted Image

After all the wrenching and torquing is complete, a little tweaking and tuning, then time to fire her up.

Posted Image

Off to the paint booth, some buffing and polishing, new wheels, tires and wheel covers, and the future owners admire their new ride.

The ole' Nova has found a new home!!!

Felt just like reading one of the articles on "barn finds/field finds" in the various Hemmings magazines. Nice restoration job Steve! Really enjoyed the story and the pictures.
