Whenever I post a post on the many different discussion sites or Facebook groups with this Ford van in the background, I get many, many messages, comments, and emails asking about it.
It is a diecast Johnny Lightning 1/24th scale model of a Coke van I received from Santa around 2005 or 2006. I have never done a post of any kind on this van, nor have I claimed I built it as a kit.

I did disassemble it and stripped ate paint to a bare diecast body. I purchased a can of Ford Olympic white spray paint and shot a few cotes on the body. I then added some detail here and there where I could and thought it was needed. All this to resemble my real Ford E~250 van.

I do display it in my 1/24th garage diorama along with my builds, or with a diecast Testors car trailer with one of my builds on it. I found and used a few parts from various kits to add to it such as these chrome trim wheel rings from a 40 Ford kit, like I had on my real one.

I have had as much fun with and enjoyed this JL Ford van, detailing, and photographing as I have had with any plastic kit build or 1/64th scale custom car. It is very nicely proportioned and the only newer style Ford van in 1/24th scale I have seen anywhere.

Love the outside shot. I would have never known it was a toy. Like how you made this a total live looking shot.
