Yeah, it looks awful crude but it has two tone beautiful colors that only the fifties had maybe a little in the early sixties. My real question is when will someone make a new casting on these 55,56 and 57 Thunderbirds? There is more than Mustangs, Torinos in the world M2, Greenlight and Autoworld. Make it happen!!!! Not Racing Champions either with the broken rear view mirrors.

I always liked this '55 'Bird casting from JL - true, not perfect but a nice one for the day. Of course the early T-Bird is another "favorite" of mine - these and the '58-'60 models. While I also like the RC casting, another problem with it - besides the fragile mirrors - it is way out of scale and thus way to big. It would be a perfect model for GL to add to their line-up.

Maybe AW will get the hint. I bet they would cast a nice one.

That one is pretty sharp buddy... I have only a few of the Thunderbirds, and to tell ya the truth, it has been so long since I pulled them from the shelves for any reason, I couldn't even say which ones I do have... Pretty sad huh ???...LOL
