1966 was a good year for Chevrolet. Both of my uncles bought new Chevys that year. A Nova and a Chevelle, and both were sporty looking cars... The Chevelle had a big block 396 and the Nova had a 327 small block. They both began building the cars a year or so later.
THat little 327 gave that big 396 all it could take and then some. Both were pretty quick machines. I wish AW could do every model that Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Plymouth, and AMC came out with for any one year. For example, a 66 Nova would about round out the line up for Chevy in 66. They have the Impala, Chevelle, El Camino, and even though these Vettes pictured are 67s, they were very close to the 66s. A line up for Ford for a certain year of all the models, and for the others too... Would be very, very cool!!!

It would be fun to have a Chevrolet dealership diorama with all of the '66 models out front and in the showroom.
