I would like some of ya all's opinions please. I have been playing around with different cameras for awhile now. Kind of experimenting with settings and set ups to take pics of these little cars. I have found that lighting type and brightness have an extreme amount to do with your pics. My daughter in law has a very, very expensive camera. I have 2 cameras. One of mine was close to 450 dollars and the smaller one was a little over 200 dollars. I am finding the pics I take with the smaller less expensive camera takes the most realistic looking shots. The contrast of the pics aren't real clear and perfect, so therefor, by comparing to pics of real cars I took in the past, these pics of the black AW Stang look really realistic. With our more expensive cameras the pics are much, much clearer, contrast is brighter and therefor seems to make it easier to tell it's a toy car. Maybe due to the clearness of the photos. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you guys rate this pic as far as looking like a real Mustang?

Sorry, 0 (Zero) The sky looks cloudy, yet the shadow of the car shows a rather bright lighting source. And there's two shadows on the ground in front of the car... that kinda 'ruins it' for me... ![]() |

The clarity is better on the second photo, which is what I value more than making a car look more realistic. |

Yeah, I thinking much of the same thing. It's a nice model and all, and overall you took some good photos (last 2 photos the focus is a bit off), but I don't get the "real car" feel from any of the photos - I think there are a lot of things coming into play (lighting, shadows, perspective, etc., etc.). |
