Lesney MG and Ferrari restomods

Couple of my latest projects. Simple repaints with rattlecans, polished baseplates and cleaning. Ferrari was missing one wheel and was already overpainted once. MG was playworn and baseplate was missing rearbumper so it needed replacing.

Thanks for your comments! Lesney models are my favourites to work on, i´ve done several Zodiac Mk IV:s, Ford G.T:s and others.

When it comes to polishing, earlier attempts doesn´t look so great now. It takes lots of practice i guess. Usually i keep baseplates in vinegar-water mixture few hours and then use Autosol polishing compound and multitool with small buffing wheel.
