I have two sets with this police cars. I get them from a good collectorfriend from Oskosh (Thanks Steve) some years ago, but´thought, that this cars are replicas from the older F & F cars and also I thought, that the cars brand is MONI CARS, but get the Information on another thread, that the correct brand is F & F (Thanks).
Here are my cars:

I did some digging myself, and came up with this from Worthpoint: Apparently, these were made in 2000 using the last surviving F&F mold.

Quote:

Produced by the late Bob Storey circa 2000 from an original F&F mold. The mold had eight cavities for the Custom 300 Fire Chief Car, eight cavities for the Country Sedan Police Ambulance, and four cavities for the Fairlane 500 Sunliner, and is the last known F&F tooling in existence, the rest being scrapped by 1987 when the firm closed its doors.
Bob sold boxed sets of one each of the three cars, in the buyer's choice of ten colors - all different than the 1957 issues from Post Cereals. New wheels were commissioned also, in black as well as white, and the cars were fitted with stainless steel axles.

Oh great, now I have to find all those coloured Police Ambulances. I have red one, but that's it.

Yes Glen, you are right  , this cars are always * EMRGENCY *, AMBULANCE and POLICE - cars.
This seems to me to be very practical for toys, but in reality the bikes are already a bit too specialized.
I've never seen this at other toy companies, but a nice idea.

Thank you for the background information on these Moni-cars. Like others I was not aware these old F&F cars had been reissued in 2000. If I had I certainly would have ordered a set or two - those "old" cereal box cars have a special connection to my childhood and grandma. :D

I would have had to buy enough of the Moni sets to get every color of the rainbow (or whatever colors they could have provided....). I love all the colors you have shown, Ernst.
