These are always cool castings. Last time I was in Florida, on Daytona Beach, there was a Ford Woody club that had several of the 40s and 50s Ford Woodys out on the beach and some in the water with waves splashing upon them. They had a cool professional photo shoot going on for a calendar to be available soon. There were some "OUTSTANDING" looking old Fords out there. I wondered what that salt water would do to the bodies and those gorgeous paint jobs!!!

Is the one without the engine sticking out a custom or just when was it released - I don't think I have ever seen one without the oversized engine popping out. :toy:

Oh yeah... Without the engine is the coolest version... ice custom job... I did a few of the 50 FOrd Shoebox customs like that... Filled the hole in the hood and got rid of the oversized engines!!!

Thank you - I was pretty sure it was but not keeping up on Hot Wheels these days I thought maybe they might have finally offered one without the engine. B)
