This series of police cars from Spec Cast of Dyersville, IA, were released in the early 2000's. They were done by Spec Cast and the people who owned Evers Toy Store in downtown Dyersville (like so many of those neat kind of hobby/diecast shops they are gone). Due to licensing issues they were not able to do all states and also offered a few cities and promo models in the course of the time the series was available.

I ended up with two of personal interest (Michigan, & Florida) to me from different toy shows, or actually I think I got one from the hobby shop, and the other I found at a show, but they do seem like great models.
