![]() ERTL's 1972 BMW Turbo Coupe Concept is the car for today. ![]()
![]() ![]() ERTL in the early 1980s offered an incredible line of diecast that was more varied than one would suspect of a company up to that point directed entirely agriculture based diecast. 'Cars of the World' of the late 70s and 'Replica' series of the 80s were two series to feature a varied line of sports cars, luxury cars, muscle car and even domestic trucks/suvs. ![]()

ERTL came out with an interesting array of cars when they added cars to their well known lineup of farm equipment. If I recall they tended to sell for a bit higher price than Matchbox and Hot Wheels but certainly did not stop me from adding them to my collection.

One of my favorite cars ever! This is a really nice example of the Ertl version! Schuco and Majorette did good castings too. |
