Not too tough for me (even though in any other week I might have gone for the Bugatti or that beautifully detailed Continental), but I go by Corvair Jim for a reason. This week it had to be the Hubley 1960 Corvair, a model I unfortunately don't have in my collection... yet.

Support your local demo derby.

A super high end week quality wise. Not a dud to be found. From vintage air cooled bowties, super cars and land barges this week had it all. Went with the NEO Lincoln. Mine arrived this week and I'm amazed at the detail.

Wow... Some serious choices this week. What an awesome bunch of diecast vehicles.

My choice and a very difficult one: Neo Scale Models 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V

Neo. As much as I'd like the Penny in my collection, and as nice as the other cars shown are... there was no hesitation. The Neo is a work of art.

I think this might be the first time there has been a Penny model that didn’t get my vote but I had to go with the NEO Lincoln.

As much as I'd love to vote for the Suburban, the NEO is just so sculptural it needs to be voted.

The NEO was going to be my vote, but it wasn't by a long shot. There were some terrific models this week, so I ended up going with the Matchbox Suburban. I love the detail put in a lot by Matchbox on this one

The Neo Lincoln is awesome and would be quite welcome in my garage, as would the Mercedes. However, I went with the Bugatti. Lately I've noticed Hot Wheels Black Box and 100% models and have added several. But not that one.

As an aside, can someone show that Neo Lincoln among some Auto World models? Be interesting to see.

It was a no-brainer. MkV over the 'vair and that sweet looking ISO Rivolta.

That Lincoln is stiff competition for sure, but I was still hoping for more than two lousy votes for the Corvair - Corvairs STILL don't get any respect! :(

It's my 'Vair...and since I already have it (and the Bugatti), the one I would want most is the Mercedes

With such a wide margin of victory for the Linc, it led me to wonder which models had the most votes as well as the widest margin of victory?

We've had some landslides in the past, but I can't think of any off the top of my head that have been this blatant. Especially not considering the level of competition this one was up against. Normally if there's a blowout, one car was noticeably superior in some way. In this case, yes, the Neo's superior, but I have a hard time faulting any of the above cars. On any other week, any of the other six could've easily had my vote (especially that Penny - it was hard to vote against that!).

The neat thing about COTW polls is that you never really know what's going to win. We've had a Kenner Fast 111's take the gold (which managed to beat out both a Norev and a Tomica, among others), as well as a My Little Pony (which managed to beat out a premium Hot Wheels and an M2, among others). Every week I try to predict a winner, and sometimes I'm right... but just as often what resonates with people isn't one I expect to be popular.

I voted for the Corvair, but every other one (except the Audi) would get my vote any other week. The Bugatti was great, and the Penny was great. The Mercedes was nice, as well as the military police. The Lincoln is in a class by itself.
