The 1/1 was assembled in Dublin, VA about an hour and a half from my house. A friend of mine was a maintenance electrician there--it was over a two hour drive for him, especially tough given he worked there often 7 days a week.

A comment made by a friend of my great-aunt (who currently still works at Volvo Truck) about these SpecCast trucks, at the price at the gift shop in the factory showroom, are really pricey (like $60). That's why there isn't one in my collection yet. Volvo shows a handful of trucks that are supposedly HO for under $20.

Very nice truck, and great photos. I always like trucks in self-promotional liveries.

Incredible - your pictures are so nice that one almost thinks they are looking at a real city and big rig rather than a model diorama. Spec Cast makes awesome trucks!
