59 Ford Ranch Wagon is exceptionally scarce in small scale, and a classic in every sense of the word for Matchbox...it is the model here I would most want. Most of these are well worth having in a collection, and the Mercury wagon would be my runner up. |

What a challenge to vote this week - '59 Ford Ranch Wagon, Mercury Cougar Wagon and the Massey Combine...but in the end went with the '59 Ford Ranch Station Wagon.

Hard call between the two Ford wagons. I did choose the Mercury, because the rear doors are just too short on the '59. (Actually the front doors are too long, mostly) Otherwise the '59 would have clearly won out.

Nothing good ever happens after midnight.

I went with the Mercury. That is one of the pieces of my childhood right there. |

Is it OK to vote for one of my own cars/combines? Even if my heart says I'd like to have one of the other ones in my collection? The chrome-look Audi and the GMC Terradyne just don't do it for me, and I have a couple of the F-40s (familiarity breeds contempt - it just doesn't seem that special to me). Meanwhile, I really like that little Z-car and the Ranch Wagon would make a great addition to my Moko collection. At this point, may the best Blue Oval Station Wagon win! |

That was always the hardest part of a week of my cars...voting for a favorite at the end. Liking picking your favorite kid...sometimes I just couldn't |

Dean-o-mite... Has there ever been a tie between two cars or more?

Indeed, there has, and both cars get featured on the main page the following week. If we ever have three or more tied, we wait an extra day for a tie-breaker. I can't fit three cars on the main page.
