These will get paint as soon as the weather allows. Also need to work on the glass pieces before assembling.

Done! I screwed up paint on three of them so they will be painted again the next time I do customs/restos. I dropped a MBX transit with fresh paint onto a Majorette Corvette, and the HW RX7 got some dirt on it while drying outside. Others came out pretty nicely. Here they are with the clear coat on.

Rather very impressive... :)

One Q: How can you tell which parts belong together?
Can't see any markings...
Is it trial and error, and in the end, all parts will have found their correct spot? Or do you just know what goes where? ...

Most of the MBX interiors have the casting number on them. The rest I either recognize or just try if it fits. In the resto process I try to keep one car and its parts in one ziplock bag, but the interior painting and window polishing kinda screw it up because you need to do as much as you can at one time.

First one ready. This Datsun was new so it didn't need window treatment which the others are waiting. New color, Majorette wheels and simple front end detail

That looks so great!

(Kinda tempted to go look for models with play-wear and fill a box and send it to you, so you can do your thing and then send it back to me ... lol)
